Hello! My name is Amber & I am an urban Indigenous woman with Cree and settler roots from Saskatoon SK. My community is Muskoday First Nation in Saskatchewan.
I am a registered Social Worker, with a Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work from First Nations University, as well as a Master of Social Work from University of Regina.

My area focus of perinatal women's mental health as well as supporting Indigenous women’s mental health and wellness.
I have recently moved to Edmonton and also work at MacEwan University as a Counsellor. My career focus has been both with the education sector and healthcare. I am experienced supporting clients through grief specifically those who have experienced pregnancy loss; as well I served on the Critical Incident Response Team in hospital to support staff through incident debriefing.
